About Cathrine Engebret

Cathrine Engebret is an audiovisual translator, copywriter, journalist and children's book author, with a background as - among other things - a publishing editor at a children's book publisher. Through her own company, Engebrets historier, she has specialized in translation and television subtitling, with assignments for TV2 and international streaming services such as Netflix and HBO, among others. She has previously written two non-fiction books for children and young adults, a book about Henrik Ibsen and one about Amalie Skram. "The Butterfly Palace" is her debut as a children's fiction author.
